Is This Someones Idea of a Sick April Fool Joke?

After two storms that dropped mud out of the skies (not RAIN, but real MUD formed by dust from the western Utah desert that had blown in and mixed with a slight amount of rain - - just enough to drop the dust out of t he sky in the form of mud), the weather changed for the better and it started to snow. We woke up on April Fools Day to greet nearly 8 inches of the white stuff.

Thank goodness I hadn't put the snow blower away for the season. I guess the water will be good for the veggie seeds I planted last week. Beets, spinach, turnips, lettuce and bok choy. The tomatoes, melons and squash won't go in for another 5 - 6 weeks. Beans, corn and peas a little sooner than that. We keep thinking that any moment someone will yell "April Fool!!" and the snow will go away. If that doesn't happen, we will just have to sit here and continue our discussion on global warming.
